Who are we?

Hertfordshire Film Consortium is a Media Education Partnership dedicated to providing quality film education activities across Hertfordshire ranging from film screenings, production workshops, study days, festivals and evening film studies courses.

Our aim is to encourage increased participation in film education for all ages, developing new audiences, offering wider access to greater diversity and number of films, while supporting the professional development of education providers, contributing to standards of visual literacy and raising the profile of Hertfordshire as a core region of the audiovisual industry.

Set up in 2007 our partners include: University of Hertfordshire, Positive Strides, Hertfordshire County Council, Campus West Theatre and Arts Centre, Elstree Screen Heritage Group, Sir John Lawes School while being core funded by Screen East.
