Venues

The Film Consortium for Hertfordshire hosts its events in collaboration with two partner exhibition venues, and is looking to expand its presentations, screenings and events at other venues wishing to raise their educational profile within the region.

Weston Auditiorium

Be transported back to afternoons of sweeping emotions, lush Technicolor and heart wrenching narratives of the 40’s and 50’s in this short course in Film Studies.

The Weston Auditorium is the University of Hertfordshire’s £3 million, visually stunning, 456-seat venue on the de Havilland Campus. A key arts venue in the area, it’s also a showcase for international and local performers, community theatre projects, independent film screenings, comedy, performance art and classical music concerts.

Campus West

Campus West opened in 1973 and was originally designed as a theatre and cinema for the local people. More than 30 years later, the building is still a thriving part of the local community. The venue offers modern and comfortable conference facilities for today's business world, as well as theatrical presentations and independent/repertory film screenings.

From modern day multi-million dollar epics to classic romances or westerns, the cinema at Campus West offers a varied programme at great value all through the week. FECH hosts its evening Film Studies courses as well as schools screenings at Campus West theatre.
